How long does it take to receive my order?

Using your Palmri Candle

Do Palmri Candles come with wicks?

Yes, each Palmri Candle comes with the sufficient wicks to start using your candle right away. Additional wicks are available for purchase if needed.

What type of container should I use?

Fireproof containers are recommended. However, other containers can be used as long as they are sufficiently large to prevent overheating and to keep the melt pool from reaching the container’s edge. A minimum width of 4 inches at the narrowest point is advised. Ensure at least 2 inches of Palmri Wax around each wick (use one wick in a 4-inch container) and 1 inch between the wick and the container bottom.

What is the burn time?

Burn time can vary based on how you use the candle. Factors include whether you relight the same wick, how many wicks you use, and how long you burn them each time. Generally, Palmri Candles burn slower than traditional candles.

How can I extinguish Palmri Candles?

You can use a flame snuffer, dip the wick with a wick dipper, or gently blow it out. For more tips, check out our Palmri essentials section.

Can I use Palmri Candles as floating candles?

Yes, Palmri Wax floats on water. Pour at least 2 inches of Palmri Wax on top of water, ensuring the wick doesn’t touch the water. Add your decorations to a vase, fill it with water until the decor is submerged, and pour the wax on top.

Can I reuse Palmri Wax from floating candles?

Yes, you can! Simply scoop out the wax and let it air dry on paper towels. Spreading it out will speed up the drying process.

Wicks

Do I need to use a new wick each time?

No, you can reuse the same wick multiple times. Each wick typically lasts around 12 hours. We provide plenty of wicks with each candle, so you can refresh your candle as needed. You can also cut or flip the wick to minimize waste, though cutting may reduce burn time.

Why does my wick extinguish quickly?

The most common reason why the wick is not burning for the full 12 hours is if the wick tip is left too far out of the Palmri wax.

Aim to have only about a quarter-inch of the wick exposed. A longer wick can lead to a shorter burn time.

How long does a wick last?

Each wick lasts approximately 10 hours.

Scents

Are Palmri Candles scented?

Palmri Candles are unscented. However, you can customize the scent by adding a few drops of your favorite essential oil around the wick area for a personalized fragrance experience.

Safety

Are Palmri Candles safe?

Yes, Palmri Candles are made from highly purified plant-based wax, burning cleanly with minimal smoke or soot. They are free from paraffin and known allergens. The wax also self-extinguishes if spilled or left burning for an extended period.

Are Palmri Candles pet-friendly?

Yes, our candles are plant-based, clean-burning, and safe for pets. However, as with any candle, keep them out of pets' reach since they are not edible. Rest assured, they are non-toxic and generally safe if a small amount is ingested. Palmri Candles also self-extinguish if spilled.
